Study Title
Training and Roles Assessment of Cellular Therapists (TRACT)
Study Description
We hypothesize that education and preparation to assume medical directorship of a cellular therapy laboratory is variable.

This hypothesis will be tested with two specific aims:

1. Assess the training pathways of Laboratory Medical Directors in programs currently accredited by the Foundation for Accreditation for Cellular Therapies and The Joint Accreditation Committee ISCT-Europe & EBMT (FACT-JACIE) and/or AABB, the two organizations that provide accreditation for cellular therapy laboratories.

A comprehensive list of cellular therapy laboratories currently accredited by FACT-JACIE and AABB will be compiled. Information regarding the credentials and training pathways of the Laboratory Medical Directors will be gathered by assessment of publically available information to include the following data points:
- Higher education
- Residency specialty and fellowship subspecialty, or international equivalent
- Context of lab: industry, academia (if so, department)
- Type of lab: GTP, GMP
- Other roles in the cell therapy lab such as lab director

2. Assess current formal training pathways available worldwide.
Describing current formal pathways available for cell therapy educational opportunities for medical directors by geographic region, which will span across institutions, countries, continents, and accrediting bodies.
