Assessment of Transfusion Use in Patients with Anemia
Study Description
The study is a multi-center retrospective medical record chart review study of inpatients who were anemic at their first hemoglobin measurement of a hospital admission. Our objectives are to determine if there is an association between patient demographic race and the transfusion of red blood cells in several patient populations admitted to hospitals in different countries.
