  • The next BEST Meeting will be held in Galveston, Texas 16-17, 2024. Onsite registration will open shortly.
  • We will be also hold this meeting using the Zoom Events format with the same agenda and in US Central Time. Pre-registration is required using the individual email sent to each member and approved guest.

The Fall 2024 Meeting is planned for Galveston, TX

Important News

  • The meeting and dinner venues have been confirmed.
  • The AABB Annual Meeting is scheduled for October 19-22, 2204 in Houston. The BEST meeting will be held on October 16-17, 2024. Please note that many of our members have AABB Meetings that they must attend on October 18th.
  • A private coach has been arranged for Friday morning October 18th for a non-stop one-way trip to Houston Convention Center. Reservations for a spot will be managed through the meeting & dinner registration. 
  • Details on hotel booking are posted in the members area.

The Spring 2025 Meeting will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland

Important News

  • The meeting dates are 2-3 May 2025
  • The meeting venue is the University of Scotland, South Hall Complex on the edge of Holyrood Park
  • The BEST Dinner will be held at the historic Caves in Old Town Edinburgh
  • An Education Symposium, in coordination with the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service, is being planned for the afternoon of Thursday, the 1st of May, from 13:00 to 17:00 at the Edinburgh COSLA Conference Center. 
  • No hotel room block is being arranged
